Tuesday will be our last opportunity to pack and organize in preparation for Wednesday's departure!
Some advice for tour participants as we near departure: go to bed as early as you can on Tuesday night, and get up out of bed early on Wednesday morning. We want you to be as sleepy as posible by the time we take off from O'Hare. You should try very hard to go to sleep on the aircraft as soon as dinner is finished. This might be a challenge, especially given your level of excitement about the tour. We promise that Thursday - in Rome - will be much more enjoyable and your transition to a new time-zone will be easier if you start to gradually pivot your body-clock in the next 48 hours.
A simple update on Passport management: In an earlier post we announced that we would distribute the blue passport wallets when students arrive at DGS for departure on Wednesday afternoon. We actually distributed those wallets at our final student meeting on Monday morning, so students should arrive already wearing those wallets around their necks on Wednesday.
